2nd Annual One KC River Cleanup
Saturday, September 13, 2025
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Kaw Point Park and the Stockyards District
Kansas City, KS
Join Friends of the Kaw to Clean Up Litter Along the Kansas River in Kansas City, Kansas! The first 300 people in attendance will receive a FREE One KC River Cleanup t-shirt!
Last year volunteers from all over the KC metro came together to pick up trash and debris, keeping over THREE TONS of trash out of the Kansas River, the drinking water source for over 950,000 Kansans. Join us for the second annual event and help make an even bigger impact!
This year, we’re so excited to host cleanups in two locations:
The primary cleanup will be at Kaw Point Park in Kansas City, Kansas. Find the location here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/8nD5gWMh6AhEYw8o9. This is the larger event and the best location for families, groups, and the general public.
We will also host a neighborhood cleanup near the Rock Island Bridge for people who live and work in the Stockyards District. Find the meeting location here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/hXsUAxxGZ6bJcMgD6.
