What Membership Does

• Strengthens Friends of the Kaw.
• Adds YOUR VOICE alongside 500+ members who believe in connecting individuals, communities, and organizations through educational paddle trips, river cleanups, and educational programming.
• Lends support to the Kansas Riverkeeper, who advocates for environmental issues facing the Kansas River and its watershed.
• Promotes public access, water quality, water quantity, and safeguarding wildlife habitats in the Kansas River watershed, the largest prairie-based river system in the world.

Membership starts March 1 and ends on February 28 the following year. join now!!

• $45 one-year Individual Membership
• $80 one-year Family Membership
• $100 one-year Nonprofit Membership
• $300 one-year Corporate Membership

The annual auto-renew feature was disabled on all memberships to prevent your credit card from being charged twice.

Monthly Recurring Donors = Free Membership

ALL Monthly recurring donors receive a complimentary individual membership each year. Become a monthly donor today!

You must enroll through our website and give at least $5 monthly. We ask that you please consider including the processing fee as part of your gift.

We ask PayPal users…PLEASE join/renew your memberships using our website.

This will create less work for our staff and allow more of your membership dollars to support programming, education, and advocacy.

Mail-In Membership Form

We accept memberships through the mail. Return our membership form with check payable to “Friends of the Kaw” and mail to Friends of the Kaw, PO Box 1612, Lawrence, KS 66044.

• Members paddle for FREE at Beginner Wednesdays and Themed Education Paddles when you bring your own kayak/canoe.

• Members can volunteer for education events, trash cleanups, riverbank restoration projects, and become a Kaw River Guide.
• Members receive a friendly reminder to renew each year.
