Coordinates – N 39.09389 W 094.71089

The Turner Bridge Hydrocache is easy to find and contains a simple, safe water quality test for turbidity (the amount of sediment that enters a river from stormwater runoff). Once you find the cache, take it and its contents down the Turner Bridge access ramp to the water and follow the instructions to perform the test. Record the test result in the log book as well as on this page if you’d like to be eligible for the free float trip. Please be sure to return the cache and contents to their original location once you’ve finished!

Already found it and performed the test? Enter your data!

Water Quality Hydrocaching is geocaching with a twist! Developed by Friends of the Kaw and with the help of the Mid-American Regional Council (MARC), hydrocaching uses the geocache format to help you learn how stormwater runoff affects water quality in the Kansas River.
Once you find all five caches you will be asked to complete a brief final quiz. If you are the one of the first ten people to find all five caches, complete the required tests, and submit your data to our site you will earn a free canoe rental on one of our group float trips.

Please do not leave any other materials in our caches. Thanks!
