Belvue Access Ramp
Belvue, Kansas

River Mile: 119

GPS: N39.20282 W96.17591

River Left

Directions:  The Belvue access ramp is just south of U.S. Highway 24 which runs parallel to I-70 on the north.  On the eastern edge of Belvue turn south on Mills and travel about a mile and half.  Access park and ramp is on the right side of the road.

Access Info:  The access has a gravel parking lot with a picnic table and fire ring.  The access ramp is 16’ wide.

Float Info:

The next access is Kaw River State Park 28 miles down stream.  Floating this section is not recommended for novice boaters, but is a nice overnight trip when the river is low enough to offer sandbars for camping.  In this section are two bridges, the Maple Hill and Willard Bridge, that can be used for emergency take-outs.

The first access upstream is Wamego at river mile 128.5 – this a beautiful 10 mile day trip.
